John Dawes for the Elephant and Castle on Ko Chang was back with a couple of vibers. Fishing two days and a brief evening session the day he arrived was long enough for him to complete ‘The big three’. After landing ‘Big Dave’ last year he nailed ‘Shirley’ and ‘Red’ this time round. Cracking battles with all the fish along with another cracking fight from a new lake record Amazon red tail catfish of 26lb 12oz beating the old best by 12oz. The predator basher now holds the Alligator gar record 22lb 4oz and red tail so was well chuffed!! John added another Arapaima along with a cracking 19lb Alligator gar along with another 7 red tails all over the 20lb mark. He added two Leopard catfish, three Striped catfish and two Rohu carp with the best going 9lb 14oz.

What a trip!! great vibes as always with banter flying all day!! Great stuff.
